Challenge

When Canopy Collective came to meet with us about a new site, they were expanding their property list rapidly in various locations throughout New York. In addition to that, they were also expanding their co-hosting services and amenity offerings for many of the properties they managed.

Canopy Collective had an existing SquareSpace site that had light messaging for their co-hosting services but the information was far from complete for their growing company. For property rental bookings, they utilized Hospitable as the platform for guests to individually book a property for short-term stay. There wasn’t any area where guests could search all their available properties to choose from for bookings, nor anywhere for guests to learn about their amenity and service offerings for experiences in the area of their stay.

Canopy Collective’s main goal was to focus on allowing their quirky 60s/70s chic brand personality to shine through and showcase their immaculate rustic yet upscale properties for guests seeking an experience like no other. Their current site was limited and no longer worked with their image, message, and offerings for both property owners and guests. They needed their site to have the ability to quickly search, showcase, and book properties as well.

Solution

To rejuvenate their brand while maintaining its integrity, we saw an opportunity to keep their brand colors and bring in new typography. We helped them figure out the site structure, enabling visitors to find and digest information through the newly expanded navigation system.

The central booking system is robust, showcasing visitors with amazing photos, details, descriptions, reviews, and interactive map information for an enjoyable experience. The redesign allows the site to prioritize guest bookings—that being the main objective, and marketing co-hosting services as the secondary objective.
